 Southeast Asian Inspired Artwork

In this post, I painted a temple, This temple is where my inspiration came from. Its called Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat (/ˌæŋkɔːr ˈwɒt/Khmerអង្គរវត្ត, "City/Capital of Temples") is a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world by land area, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares (1.626 km2; 402 acres). Originally constructed as a Hindu temple[1] dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century as such it is also described as a "Hindu-Buddhist" temple.

Materials needed:

  • Canvas (Any size will do if you can fit the temple in it)
  • Water( To clean the brushes)
  • Brushes ( Any brush will do as long as it isn't too big for the size of your canvas)
  • Pencil ( To sketch the design on your canvas to act as a guide) (Optional)
  • Paint(Black, White, Yellow, Orange, Red)
And yeah, looks like that's all you'll need.

So this the sketch that I have drawn  to sort of, help me visualize and guide me throughout the painting. This can be optional if you want to start right away.

The video below will explain the entire process, so check it out!

And, this is my finished product!
